Laura approaches dog training and coaching from a big picture perspective. She wants to know not only who you want your dog to be, but also who they are and how you as an individual can learn to support and facilitate their growth.

Using a positive reinforcement framework, Laura's goal is to educate pet guardians on their dog's needs first, and then integrate training and lifestyle into a holistic training plan. When you work together with Laura, you will not only learn how to address problematic behaviours and reach training goals, you will learn how to have a strong and adaptable relationship with your dog throughout the journey of dog parent life.

Laura's own dog-mom journey started with her German Shepherd rescue Sasha, who suffered from lack of socialization and abuse resulting in lifelong chronic pain.

Her second journey began when she found a mutt and brought her home, only to then embark on life with a reactive dog.

Most recently, she has welcomed a spunky herding dog into the mix.

Through personal experience, education and many years of helping people and their dogs grow together, Laura knows that every relationship between dog and human is unique and that the quest for understanding between the two species is lifelong.
